Additional photos, including the palace guards, can be found in the second set of images below from the original production these costumes were designed for.  All original costumes for The Mikado were designed by Taras Korol, additions to the set have been made to keep the integrity of the original designs.  We are able to supply a chorus of 40 men and 40 women and have multiple lead costumes to cover various sizes and make subtle changes to the look.

This original production of  The Mikado was the first production of the Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Winnipeg.

Original costume designs by Taras Korol, set designs by Craig Sandels.
Since this production, the Winnipeg G&S Society has produced over 22 complete Gilbert and Sullivan productios, as with all repeat productions the challenge is to make changes and have a fresh look so we have added variety to many of our G&S productions. The Mikado costumes here are all available for rental, and we've created dozens of new costumes for both leads and chorus over the years, keeping the integrity of the original Taras Korol designs intact.
